Avatars In Education
Avatars are helpful in communicating with students who may have speaking difficulties or use English as their second language. Utilizing the speech box, it is helpful to add any text and have a voice pronounce it in a different language for a bilingual student to understand. Also, the sound and pronunciation of words can help a child understand how to sound a word out and be able to repeat the audio over and over until they come to an understanding. The use of an avatar also makes a more interesting learning environment. Using new technology to teach makes an exciting classroom, one that students will want to visit each day.
